InovaHub (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a platform that connects students, interns, and professionals through networking, internships, job opportunities, and collaborative learning. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the InovaHub mobile application and all related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as needed.
2. Account Registration and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You agree to notify us immediately at support@inovahub.tech if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not:
- Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Post, share, or transmit content that is:
- Illegal, defamatory, or discriminatory;
- Sexually explicit, pornographic, or contains nudity;
- Harassing, threatening, or abusive;
- Infringing on intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Containing viruses, malware, or harmful code;
- Exploiting or abusing children in any way.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ accounts or our systems.
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or degrades the Service (e.g., DDoS attacks, scraping).
- Use the Service to spam, phish, or distribute unsolicited advertisements.
- Share or resell access to the Service without our written permission.
4. Zero Tolerance Policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
InovaHub has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
- Prohibited Content: You may NOT create, upload, share, or distribute any content that:
- Depicts or promotes child sexual abuse, exploitation, or any form of child pornography.
- Grooms, harasses, or exploits minors in any way.
- Shares or solicits any material that sexualises minors.
- Reporting: If you encounter any content or behaviour that you believe involves child exploitation, you must report it immediately to us at support@inovahub.tech.
- Enforcement: Violation of this policy will result in:
- Immediate and permanent account termination.
- Removal of all associated content.
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities (including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children – NCMEC).
- Legal Obligations: We will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation cases.
5. User Content
- Ownership: You retain all rights to the content (text, images, videos, etc.) you post on InovaHub.
- License to InovaHub: By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
- Content Standards: You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy and CSAE Policy outlined above.
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
6. Content Reporting and Moderation
- Reporting: If you see content that violates these Terms, you can report it by:
- Review Process: We will review all reported content within a reasonable timeframe and take appropriate action, which may include:
- Warning the user.
- Removing the content.
- Suspending or terminating the user's account.
- Reporting to law enforcement if necessary.
- Appeals: If your content or account was removed in error, you can appeal by emailing support@inovahub.tech.
7. Intellectual Property
- InovaHub IP: All content provided by InovaHub (including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software) is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our intellectual property without our prior written consent.
- User Content: As stated above, you retain rights to your content, but you grant us a licence to use it as needed to provide the Service.
8. Third‑Party Links and Services
Our Service may contain links to third‑party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of such third‑party sites. You acknowledge and agree that InovaHub is not liable for any loss or damage caused by your use of any third‑party services.
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
- By You: You may delete your account at any time via the app’s settings. Your content will be deleted or anonymised within 30 days. For more details, see our Data Deletion Policy.
- By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or if we are required to do so by law.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and we may delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers
- “As Is” Service: The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
- No Guarantee of Outcomes: We do not guarantee that you will find internships, jobs, or connections through the Service.
- User‑Generated Content: We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of user‑generated content. You use such content at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InovaHub and its affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities;
- Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) during the preceding 12 months.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InovaHub and its employees, directors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your infringement of any third‑party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Pune, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- You agree to bring any claims against us within one year of the event giving rise to the claim; otherwise, such claims are waived.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the app or via email. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Your continued use of the Service after the changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
